Chinese scientists have invented a new type of building cementitious material imitating geodiagenesis - "curd". Compared with ordinary cement, this kind of "stone" formed by grinding various industrial wastes such as metallurgical slag, fly ash and coal gangue is very prominent in many aspects, such as strength, density, corrosion resistance, production cost and cleaner production. "Condensed stone" technology is a research achievement of the national high and new technology research and development plan (i.e. 863 plan). This high-tech with completely independent intellectual property rights, invented by Professor Sun Henghu of Tsinghua University, has obtained a number of national patents. This technology has passed the project appraisal hosted by the Ministry of education on the 12th. In the next step, it will be submitted to the competent department of the National 863 plan for acceptance.
Geological research shows that natural volcanic ash and other substances can be transformed into long-term stable aluminosilicate rocks through sedimentation and metamorphism under normal temperature and pressure. Based on the principle of geodiagenesis, the "solidified stone" technology takes various industrial wastes (such as metallurgical slag, fly ash, coal gangue, red mud and other industrial solid wastes) as the main raw materials and a small amount of diagenetic agent to produce a new type of high-performance building material - silicon aluminum based cement products under normal temperature and pressure.
Experts believe that "coagulated stone" has many advantages compared with ordinary cement, such as "cold operation" in the production process, energy saving and no carbon dioxide emission; The production process greatly reduces smoke and dust, does not damage natural resources and does not pollute the environment; The strength, density, corrosion resistance and freeze-thaw resistance of "condensed stone" concrete are excellent; With various waste residues as raw materials, "slag consumption" can reach more than 90%, which is a more effective method to treat waste residues; Low production cost, simple process, etc.
